Backup & Recovery

If your data disappeared today, could you get it back?

Ransomware, hardware failure, a deleted mailbox, a departing employee, any of them can wipe out data your business runs on. We carry two backup lines: N-able Cove for cloud-first backup of endpoints, servers, and Microsoft 365, and Axcient for full business continuity and disaster recovery. Pick your vendor below.

Not sure which?  Cove suits straightforward cloud backup; Axcient suits fast full-site recovery. Tell us your setup and we will size it.
CapabilityWhat it does
RansomwareIf an attack encrypts your systems, an off-network, immutable backup lets you restore instead of paying. Attackers cannot reach backups they cannot see.
Hardware failureA dead server or drive should not mean lost data. Bare-metal recovery brings a machine back, even on different hardware, so you are not rebuilding from scratch.
Deleted mailbox or fileMicrosoft 365 does not keep your data forever. Cove backs up mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams so a deleted mailbox or file comes back.
A departing employeeWhen someone leaves, their files and mailbox should not leave with them. A backup keeps a clean copy your business still owns.
Why do I need backup if I already have a firewall and antivirus?+

Prevention tools reduce the odds of an incident, but they cannot undo one. Backup is what gets your data back after ransomware, hardware failure, or human error, so it is the last line that actually recovers you.

Do I need Cove for devices, Microsoft 365, or both?+

Cove for devices backs up your PCs, Macs, and servers. Cove for Microsoft 365 backs up Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. Most businesses need both, since they protect different data. We can size and quote either or both.

Do I need to back up Microsoft 365?+

Yes. Microsoft keeps the service running but does not protect you from deleted, ransomed, or lost data. Recovering that is your responsibility, and Cove for Microsoft 365 covers Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.

How is backup priced?+

Both platforms are subscription-based, typically per device or per user, with flat-fee cloud storage. Tell us what you need to protect and we will size and quote it.
