Your account password plus a 128-bit Secret Key generated on your device and never sent anywhere. Both are needed to decrypt a vault, so a phished password on its own is useless, and 1Password cannot read your data either.

One per person. Shared vaults carry what a team needs in common; personal logins stay personal, which is why staff actually adopt it.
