Back up servers and workstations straight to the cloud.
Cove Data Protection from N-able protects your physical and virtual servers, plus Windows and Mac workstations, with no backup appliance to buy or maintain. Backups go direct to secure cloud storage that is included in the price, so an attack on your network cannot reach them. Buy below, or ask us to size it.

| Capability | What it does |
|---|---|
| Small, fast backups with TrueDelta | TrueDelta deduplicates at the sub-block level and sends only what changed, making backups up to 60 times smaller. That lets you protect servers and workstations as often as every 15 minutes without straining bandwidth. |
| Ransomware-resilient by design | Backups are encrypted with AES-256 and sent straight to the cloud, where they are immutable and isolated from your network. An attack on your infrastructure does not reach your backups. |
| Cloud storage is included | There is no separate storage bill and no appliance to provision. Storage sits in N-able's private cloud across data centers worldwide, and you can keep your data in your region. |
| Recovery options for any scenario | Restore a single file or folder from the cloud console, do a full bare-metal restore even to different hardware, or bring up a recovery VM locally or in the cloud. One product covers all of it. |
Do I need a backup appliance or local storage?+
No. Cove is appliance-free and backs up direct to the cloud, with storage included in the subscription. You can optionally keep a local copy with LocalSpeedVault on hardware you already have, but it is not required.
How often can Cove back up?+
As often as every 15 minutes. TrueDelta sends only changed data at the sub-block level, so frequent backups stay small and do not strain your bandwidth.
How does Cove protect backups from ransomware?+
Backups are AES-256 encrypted and sent straight to the cloud, where they are immutable and isolated from your network. Because they are off-site and cannot be altered, an attack on your systems does not compromise your ability to recover.
What recovery options are there?+
File and folder recovery from the cloud console, full bare-metal restore even to different hardware, and virtual recovery by spinning up a VM locally or in the cloud.
Where is my backup data stored?+
In N-able's private cloud, with data centers worldwide. You can choose the region so your data stays where you need it.
