Do I get the same features on a monthly plan?+
Yes. Monthly Standard and Xstream include the same protection as the equivalent termed bundles. The only difference is how you pay, monthly instead of up front for a term.
Is monthly cheaper than a multi-year term?+
Usually not in total. Monthly costs a little more overall in exchange for flexibility and a lower upfront cost. A multi-year term tends to be the lowest total cost, especially at 3 or 5 years. We quote both so you can compare.
Can the monthly price change?+
Yes. A monthly subscription is billed at the current rate, so the price can change if Sophos adjusts its pricing. This is the main downside of monthly compared with a multi-year term, which locks your pricing for the full term. If price certainty matters to you, a term is the safer choice, and we can quote both.
Does a monthly subscription auto-renew?+
Yes. Monthly plans continue automatically until you cancel, which is what keeps them flexible.
Can I switch from a term to monthly, or back?+
An existing term licence can be moved to a monthly plan. Tell us what you have today and we will set up the right arrangement.
What is included, and do I still need support?+
Both monthly bundles include Enhanced Support, which covers firmware updates and 24/7 access. If you need faster response, Enhanced Plus is available as an upgrade.
