Axcient x360Cloud: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backup
Axcient x360Cloud is cloud-to-cloud backup for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. It copies your mail, files, calendars and Teams data into the Axcient Cloud, so a second, independent copy exists outside the platform that holds the original.
Microsoft's retention is not a backup. Recycle bin and retention policies expire, and they sit inside the same platform. If an account is deleted, a license lapses, ransomware encrypts a synced drive, or someone empties a mailbox deliberately, native retention will not always get it back. That gap is what this product exists to close.

Getting data back
Backup is the easy half. Restore is where products differ.

The retention detail is worth reading twice. Deleted and unlicensed users stay backed up. When someone leaves and you drop their license to save cost, their mail and files remain recoverable rather than disappearing with the seat.

Does Microsoft 365 not back up my data already?
Microsoft protects its own infrastructure and offers retention policies, but that is not the same as backup. Retention expires, recycle bins empty, and everything sits inside the same platform as the original. Microsoft operates a shared responsibility model in which protecting your data is your responsibility, not theirs.
What does Axcient x360Cloud actually back up?
