Pro removes the deployment decision. Core and Essentials make you pick API or MX. Pro runs both, so you get gateway filtering in front of your mail and API level visibility inside the mailbox. It also adds XDR, which is what puts email detections alongside endpoint, identity and network signals in one investigation.
What Pro adds over Essentials
- Dual deployment. API with inline mode and MX gateway together, rather than one or the other.
