This model needs 802.3bt PoE++ and draws up to 40 W. An 802.3at switch or injector will not power it. Check what you have before ordering, because this is the most common reason an access point arrives and will not come up.

Throughput in Mbps. The 420 is the only model with a 1 GbE uplink. The 840E is the only one needing 802.3bt PoE++. The E models add the 6 GHz band.
What to check before ordering
The 6 GHz band is the reason to choose an E model. It is far less congested than 2.4 and 5 GHz, and both Canada and the United States permit Wi-Fi 6E, so the third radio is usable in both markets.
The 2.5 GbE uplink means a gigabit switch port becomes the bottleneck before the radios do. Pair it with a 2.5G switch to get the throughput you are paying for.
